Mobile success solutions by joint efforts

Contract on joint venture for the development and distribution of storage and transport systems for tools and accessories signed between Sortimo and Bosch

On 13 December 2011, Robert Bosch GmbH and Sortimo International Ausrüstungssysteme für Servicefahrzeuge GmbH signed contracts on the formation of a joint venture with equal representation from both companies.

The registered office of the company, which will operate under the name "BS Systems GmbH & Co. KG", will be Zusmarshausen near Augsburg. The contracts have been entered into subject to the approval of the competent antitrust authorities. Being approved, the joint venture is supposed to take up its work at the beginning of 2012. The joint venture partners are planning to jointly develop mobile storage and transport systems or to advance and distribute existing systems.

Sortimo's 'L-Boxx' is already part of the novelties Bosch offers in the field of its professional blue power tools. "The 'L-Boxx' stands for intelligent solutions in the field of transport facilities. The further development of the 'L-Boxx' by the joint venture of Sortimo and Bosch will build on its present success." – Johann Dieminger and Dr. Markus A. Kieser from Sonntag & Partner, who accompanied the contract negotiations in charge of Sortimo, are convinced.
